Each summer I lead a traveling study experience called Cities in Civilization. We spend about a week in each of six major cities (London, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Florence, Rome) seeking to understand the role each city has played in contributing to innovations in culture and technology. We consider the broad imprint that each place has made on global culture while also seeking deeper understanding of local life in each destination.
Our 2022 trip was amazing with an incredible group of students. The photo gallery below highlights short excerpts from their multimedia final projects.
